ORANGE FLAG 2009
October 19 through 21, 2009 was set aside at ETC's NASTAR center to host pilots from nine countries to participate in NASTAR Center's annual Orange Flag '09.
This annual, gala kick-off event will set the stage for subsequent, smaller Orange Flag exercises at ETC's NASTAR center. Orange Flag exercises are designed to introduce fast jet aircrew and high ranking military officials to the latest innovations in operational readiness training for pilots and aircrew.
The dynamic motion base of the ATFS 400 with a F15 cockpit, has the capability of sustaining 9 G's. This system was HLA linked against a Sukhoi 30 motion simulator. Flying the F-15 and Su-30 in the same virtual environment, participants were able to experience first hand, air-to-air, and air-to-ground tactical exercises in a safe, efficient and friendly forum.
If you are interested in having your pilots and high ranking officials participate in an Orange Flag exercise in 2010, then please contact Glenn King for additional information and to schedule your visit.
